![]() ![]() I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. If you need it shipped sooner, please let me know and I will do our best to accommodate. However, depending on circumstances, it may take up to an additional 1 week from receipt of confirmed payment. My goal is to ship within 7 days from auction end. Payment should be made within 7 business days at the end of the auction unless buyer contacts me for other arrangements. Please email me if you need additional photos or information. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!!! During the war, somoene has added the standard KM Rubber armor to the objecting lenses. ![]() The strap is the original one to these binos and still very strong. Made by Leitz of a large tooled alloy and aluminum construction, these 7 x 50 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original, rough textured, black finis…and the focus adjustment still functions perfectly on both eye pieces! The optics are still VERY clear! Right side is marked 7 x 50, the 3-digit code of “ beh” (indicating being manufactured by Leitz), the serial number, “429237”, and a “+” lubricant code. This specific binocular was used by U-Boat crews, ships, and coastal artillery. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis. The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. You are bidding on a SUPERB set of WW2 German Kriegsmarine 7×50 U-Boat & Ship Binoculars! ![]()
